Under the aegis of Israel Tennis Centers (ITC), Israel Children’s Centers has offered numerous recreational programs to children since the organization’s formation in 1976. One of its flagship programs, ITC’s coexistence initiative brings together children from all segments of Israeli society, from Jews and Muslims to Bedouins and Druze, to build understanding and friendship through sport. ITC also works with at-risk youth to encourage positive life choices and avoid vagrancy, drugs, and violence. Other programs provided by ITC include empowerment and recreation for immigrant children and special needs children, leading to a greater sense of community and improved self-esteem.
Active in a wide range of charities that support the arts, cultural initiatives, and children in need, Edward Reicin gives whenever possible to organizations in his Chicago hometown and beyond. Among these, Edward Reicin has served as international chairman of Israel Children’s Centers, one of the largest providers of social services for Israeli children of all races, ethnicities, and religious affiliations.
